‘Fall in a container’: Philadelphia bringing back Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese

Philadelphia brand says it is celebrating “10 years of pumpkin spice perfection.”

Its Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese, which first debuted in 2013, will return to grocery store shelves in August 2023.

“... Philadelphia Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese has been a seasonal staple that many deem as ‘fall in a container.’ Philly Pumpkin Spice spread continues to be a highly demanded autumnal delight, ranking in the top 15 most popular pumpkin spice retail products in the US.”

The cream cheese is made, Philadelphia said, with pumpkin concentrate and cinnamon. The brand also offers recipes - Ginger-Pumpkin Spice Cookie Balls and Pumpkin Gingersnap Sandwich Cookies.

Philadelphia is not the first brand to launch its pumpkin spice flavor for 2023. Krispy Kreme debuted two new doughnuts - Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Swirl and Pumpkin Spice Maple Pecan - on Aug. 7.

On Aug. 1, 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes brought back its pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin pie coffee and pumpkin syrup to add to any cup of coffee. And in July, Nestlé Toll House said its Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough would be back this month.
